Mentoring

RCSD’s mentorship is designed to induct newly hired teachers into the district, the profession and the community; assist in developing their pedagogical skills to work effectively in an urban environment and to inspire teacher excellence.

Professional Development

Recognizing that a teacher is a life long learner, there are incentives offered to bargaining union members who document engagement and professional development beyond what is provided.
